Instructor for CPCU Part 9, "Economics"

 

Worked with the National Council on Compensation Insurance to effect changes in the Maine Assigned Risk Workers Compensation pool to make previously unavailable marine coverage part of their program.  These changes were necessary for the proper management of Maritime Risks.

 

Number one producing agent in $15-20 million independent agency for four years, 1986 through 1989. Annual sales volume $400,000 to $950,000.

           

Invited to spend ten days in London and Northern England in 1988 to become acquainted with Sunderland Marine Mutual and the Lloyd's marketplace.

 

Awarded "Personal Sponsorship Award" for the motivation and guidance of CPCU students by The Society of CPCU and the Maine Chapter, Society of CPCU.

 

Recipient of the American Association of Managing General Agents "Chairman's Award" for outstanding dedication and contribution to the continuing professionalism of the business of insurance.

 

Facilitated and formulated Strategic Plan for the Independent Insurance Agents Association “PAVE” Program   (Partners for Agency Value and Education)  for education funding for the Independent Agent Distribution Force.

 

Founded the “Eagle of Excellence Award” given by the Maine Chapter of CPCU for outstanding contribution to the field of Risk Management in the State of Maine.
