INSURANCE
BOOT CAMP
The Essentials of the Industry
The curriculum takes its students through basic terms and theory, and explores risk management and legal contracts. Following an examination of property and casualty basics, students study dwelling, homeowners and automobile insurance. Liability and workers compensation are examined, as are marine, equipment, commercial and business insurance. This fundamental training provides an excellent base of information from which students can draw. Following Insurance Boot Camp, students return to their teams with the basics they need regarding coverage issues, claims settlement issues, sales and customer service. This program is approved for 24 continuing education units by the Maine Bureau of Insurance. Click
